Carol Trax

Rev. Carol Trax is a native of northern New Jersey. She joined the staff of Community Church in 1998, serving as Missions Minister. In 2007, she moved to her current position as Minister of Pastoral Care.

Carol received a B.A. in Psychology from The College of Wooster in Ohio, her M.A. in education from New York University, and her M. Div from Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in Kentucky. Prior to ministry, Carol taught elementary school, served as the director of a Sylvan Learning Center and served as Director of Christian Education in several churches.

She and her husband Mike moved to Stuart in 1971 where they raised their three children. In 2000, they moved to Vero Beach, where Mike enjoys flying and Carol enjoys yard work, swimming and reading. All of their children are Florida residents, which means that Mike and Carol can see their grandchildren often!
