Women’s Fellowship takes you on a trip to Ireland during lunch on Friday, March 16th. Now one doesn’t need to spend thousands of dollars to tour the old sod. It’s not necessary to get on and off a bus and wait for the two tourists lagging-behind in the souvenir shop. No need to stand on-line for hours to kiss the Blarney Stone.

The leprechauns of  Women’s Fellowship will bring some of it to you through song, food and landscape scenery. They’ll prepare an Irish pub luncheon of corn beef and cabbage, carrot salad, bread and grasshopper pie. The same leprechauns were able to sprinkle some gold dust and are able to have one of our favorite church members and choir members, Jim O’Brien, entertaining the luncheon tourists with a series of Irish songs. And he’s an Irish tenor to boot!

Don’t  miss the opportunity to take the tour. Your per person reservation is $10.00 and can be made by Sunday, March 11th. Call the church office 562-3633 to make your reservation or make it with the Women’s Fellowship table during Sunday Fellowship time on March 4 and 11.

So come and join Women’s Fellowship and receive the warmth, friendliness, smiling eyes and welcoming of the Irish that stretches  from Kerry to Longford, to Donegal, to Waterford, to Londonderry and to Wexford and to Vero Beach. It’s what the Irish are known for, and you’ll find it right here at The Community Church.
