Adult Education

Community @ Community

As a rapidly expanding part of the Adult Ministry at Community Church, The Community Table Talk focuses on providing continuing education programs that inspire and encourage intellectual curiosity and spiritual growth. Classes are offered on Bible study, church history, theology, ethics, spirituality, music, and art, are a way of enriching Christian faith. Many have also found that these courses of study offer a renewed spiritual grounding for living in this world of increasing uncertainty.

Any adult may register for classes - Community Church member, non-member, visitor or friend. The only requirement is an eagerness to learn and a commitment to attend each session in the three to six week term. There are no registration fees for courses. Nominal material costs (books for curriculum) are collected at the first class of each course. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings (typically fall through spring) in the church Education Building to coincide with the Community @ Community dinner program and other intergenerational activities. Our curriculum covers a wide range of study with topics, teachers, and times designed to suit individual interests and schedules. Your toughest decision may well be in determining which of these classes you want to enroll in now!
