What We Believe

Community Church was formed in 1924 on the idea that "there's more that binds us together than separates us in the worship of God."

We welcome everyone—no matter your race, language, background, age, gender, ability, relationship status, or faith journey. You are invited to fully participate in every part of church life.

The Bible guides our faith and practices. We study it seriously and thoughtfully, using modern tools to discover new meaning and truth for today.

We honor historic Christian creeds but don't require strict agreement and statements of faith.

We believe in thinking deeply and growing in understanding as God's Word unfolds.

We believe that there is nothing that can separate you from the love of God.
